| COUNTRY CLUB ESTATES COMMUNITY WIDE YARD SALE DAY |
| May 2008 Country Club Estates held their first Community Wide Yard Sale Day in recent memory. After weeks of rainy weekends this turned out to be a fantastic day for a yard sale. Riding through the community one could find yard sales on most all of the streets. At some locations there were many participants and it was almost like a party type atmosphere. |
All residents of CCE may participate. Simply hold your yard sale at your own location as most people do. The day to do this is Saturday May 14, 2011. The designated time frame is from 8:30am til 12:30pm. You may start earlier or run later as desired. What makes this a special event is that the Community Association will have it advertised in the various papers, etc as a Community Wide Yard Sale consisting of many, many participates throughout the community. For the participant this mean less hassle to advertise and more visitors to your yard sale. Yard sale shoppers love to go where they can hit the most yard sales at one time with the least amount of traveling. You may print down a community map for reference so you can show visitors what streets to check out that might have yard sales. As a community participant we ask that you display this map such that all can view it yet not take it with them. SIGNS FOR CCE YARD SALE DAY! . Printable Arrow Signs Now Available END OF STREET ARROW SIGNS These are Yard Sale Signs (size 8 1/2" x 11") to post at the end of your street on the morning of the event before it starts. These signs are generic so you may print these signs down at anytime. Feel free to use these signs any time of the year for yard sales. Select the hollow arrow signs and color them in with a dark marker to conserve printer ink. Select the solid arrow signs for a complete instant ready to use sign. Think about where you want to place your arrow signs and what direction they will be facing and print down the signs accordingly. If you want to make double sided signs you will need one right and one left arrow print-out for each sign you make. Consider cardboard to back the signs so they do not curl up and as a result stay fully viewable throughout the day. |
